Runners must be at least 17 years old on the day of the event.

You can make changes to your entry until 27th May by logging into your account.

You can enter as an NSPCC Fundraiser for only £20.00, but you must pledge to raise a minimum of £150.00 for the NSPCC.

If you have entered as a general entry then we'd love you to use your own place to fundraise for the NSPCC.

Anything you raise will help them to protect children.

Yes, this event is suitable for beginners.

Yes, subject to availability, check the event page for details closer to race day.

No. Any runner found running with a number in another runner’s name or without a valid entry will be disqualified and may be banned from future events. This is in accordance with UKA guidelines.

Yes, you can transfer your place to someone else until 27th May. You can make the change [ HERE ]. Once the new runner has registered, signed the waiver, and paid the entry price the original entrant will receive a refund minus a £5 admin fee. After this date, the Runner Numbers will be prepared and posted and no further changes nor refunds can be made by us.

Yes, there will be water stops at approximately Mile 3, 7, and 10 and at the finish. Water will be given in paper cups. These will be collected by our partner Cawleys who will make sure they are recycled ♻️ Please make sure you drop the cups in the bins provided and do not leave any litter on the course.

The majority of the race is run on smooth redways. The finish is on grass which can be a little slippery if wet.

Half Marathon every 5 minutes from 1:30 to 2:15 plus 2:30 and 2:45

Yes, there will be plenty of signs and marshals to ensure you go the right way and to cheer you on.

Yes, we would love to see people in a sensible fancy dress out on the course, but do practice in your costume before race day, you may find it hot or uncomfortable to run in.

Unfortunately, the course isn’t considered suitable for a wheelchair wave. Standard chairs are welcome in the main field as long as they start near the back. However, we highly recommend viewing the site and route first to assess suitability.

The time limit to complete the race will be 3 hours and 30 minutes.

You will receive your race number and race instructions by post approximately 7 to 14 days before the event.

Your iTab will automatically be posted to you after the event. You do not need to do anything.

We often welcome runners from overseas to our races. You may enter online, however, you must give a UK address for your race pack, alternatively, you may collect your number and chip from the Race HQ from 07:00 on the day of the race.

Yes, the route has been officially measured as accurate by the Association of UK Course Measurers.

The use of bone conductor headphones is allowed, but NO OTHER types of headphones/earphones will be allowed at this event.

Anyone seen wearing headphones/earphones (excluding bone conductor headphones) will be disqualified from the race.

We know this isn’t fun, but your safety is our priority.

Safety pins will be available from the Race HQ.

Sorry but running with a buggy is not allowed as it would be unsafe.

Sorry, but there is no option to defer race entries unless stated otherwise

You have the option to protect your booking with Active Protect for a small fee. Receive a full refund of the purchase price and processing fee should you be unable to attend the event due to a specified reason, such as:

  • Injury or illness
  • Vehicle breakdown or theft
  • Adverse weather resulting in travel warnings
  • Work relocation

Please note that cover is void if the event is canceled or postponed. You will be able to select this option at the checkout stage and download the latest coverage details. Registration protection is provided by Active.com, and you should contact them directly about your policy and how to claim. This insurance policy is not offered or sold by the NSPCC Milton Keynes Half Marathon and is an agreement between yourself and Active.com.
